A Visit to OC Cigar Lounge in Woodbridge, Virginia

Introduction

In 2009, the Commonwealth of Virginia passed a smoking ban that covered pretty much every place, including restaurants and bars. The law, however, exempted retail tobacco stores. As a result, a number of cigar lounges sprung up to provide a place for cigar smokers to enjoy our hobby. On December 2nd, 2017, OC Cigar Lounge opened in Woodbridge, VA. OC Cigar Lounge is owned by Shami Walia who is also the owner of Burke Cigar Lounge located in Burke, VA.

Shami built OC Cigar Lounge from the ground up, tearing down an old building, navigating the joys of dealing with government approvals, and overseeing the long process of building a cigar lounge from scratch. OC Cigar Lounge is located outside of Washington DC in Northern Virginia on the Route 1 and Interstate 95 corridor in Woodbridge, VA.

OC Cigar Lounge has a state of the art air filtration system, six big screen TVs, and multiple seating areas with premium leather seats. The lounge also has a large walk-in humidor featuring your favorite cigar brands. Additionally, OC Cigar Lounge carries a large selection of cigar accessories, including cigar cutters, lighters, ashtrays, and humidors. Shami treats his customers like family and you’ll always feel welcome at the lounge.

Entry to the lounge requires a membership that costs $365.00 per year. Membership includes 10% off all purchases, first dibs on limited cigars, and members-only events. Alternatively, if you purchase 2 cigars, you can visit the lounge for the day. The humidor is open to all customers. Wednesday evening is Ladies Night!
