Senator Marco Rubio Addresses Senate on the Lunacy of FDA Cigar Regulation

On July 26th, 2018, Senator Marco Rubio (R-Florida) spoke on the Senate floor about Federal Drug Adminstration (FDA) regulation of premium cigars. Rubio’s speech was part of the 2019 Federal Spending discussion, allowing Senators to address the Senate on topics of interest to them. Rubio vehemently supported cigar manufacturers and retailers in Florida and the United States. He singled out the JC Newman Factory located in Ybor City, FL, as an example of FDA regulation gone awry. “This industry is on the verge of extinction,” Rubio stated.

Cool Tool: Update on the Butane Lighter Air Bleed Tool

Keven Shahan is an inventor and a cigar smoker. Frustrated with using various tools to bleed his cigar lighters, he decided to invent his own cool tool to bleed his lighters. A Visit to CIGARfest 2018 Pig Roast Chowdown

CIGARfest 2018 is in the books and over the next three weeks, Cigar Intel is publishing our take on three events: Pig Roast Chowdown, the Main Event, and Bales & Ales 2.0. Don’t miss the pictures and video in this post so you can get a real feel for the event.

CIGARfest 2018 took place from Thursday, May 3rd, 2018 through Sunday, May 6th, 2018 at various locations in Pennsylvania. Most of the events were at Split Rock Resort in Lake Harmony, PA. The remaining events were at the various Cigars International stores in PA. This was the 15th year for the event and CIGARfest is one of the biggest cigar events in the world with 6,000 attendees. The Pig Roast Chowdown occurred on Thursday, May 3rd, 2018 from 12:00 pm – 5:00 pm. Check out the post, including a 360-degree video.
