A Visit to Davidoff of Geneva Cigar Lounge in Tampa, Florida

In 2015, Corona Cigar Company opened their first Davidoff of Geneva since 1911 branded cigar store and lounge in Tampa, FL. Yes, the name of the place really is “Davidoff of Geneva since 1911”. A tad weird but the trust me, this is a “must see” during your next visit to Tampa, FL. For this post, I’ll simply call the place Davidoff Tampa as I get tired typing the formal name and I am guessing you’ll never refer to the place using the formal name.

The store was licensed by Davidoff and is one of over 75 Davidoff branded stores throughout the world. This place is a real gem with over 5,000 square feet of humidified space. Davidoff Tampa is located in the fancy schmancy MetWest shopping village close to the Tampa Airport. Davidoff Tampa includes one of the largest selection of cigars I’ve seen, multiple indoor and outdoor lounge areas, wi-fi, powered seating areas, and a well-stocked bar. The cigar selection includes many hard to find cigars including a special Davidoff only available at this location. You can also pick up the entire selection of Florida Sun Grown cigars produced by Drew Estate and Corona Cigar Company. The staff is knowledgeable and helpful which is refreshing. The wait staff is friendly and attentive. The air handling system is phenomenal, especially if you sit outdoors.

Here’s a short video for your viewing pleasure. Light up a really short stick and enjoy!

c.gar loves all things cigar-related. He typically falls in love with cigars that are discontinued shortly thereafter. His first cigar was a Swisher Sweet with a wood tip. Sadly, these are still in production.
