Steve Saka – The Man, The Myth, The Legend
Let’s face it, we all love Steve Saka. OK, most of us love Steve Saka. Those who don’t aren’t fans of speaking the truth about the cigar industry. From being an influential blogger before the word “blogger” existed, to helping grow JR Cigar to massive online cigar retailer, to bringing Drew Estate out of the infused cigar closet with Liga Privada and other premium cigars, Saka has changed the face of the cigar world. His newest venture, his own cigar company, Dunbarton Tobacco & Trust, with his initial Sobremesa release is garnering accolade after accolade. Sara has been making the rounds on the various cigar podcasts and blog sites educating cigar smokers about his new endeavor. Smokey Butts and I have listened to every darn one of them as we are Saka fanboys. We met him at a Drew Estate Cigar Safari a few years back, drank enough rum with him that he won’t remember ever talking to us, and was his typical outspoken self on the state of the cigar industry.

In this interview, Steve Saka goes into great detail about his entire career, including insights into each of his various jobs in the cigar industry.
