Nub Event Bethlehem, PA
Friday May 2nd, 2010 on our way from Washington, DC to CigarFest 2010 at the Split Rock Resort in Lake Harmony, PA the Herfmeister and myself stopped by the Cigars International Down Town Store in Bethlehem Pennsylvania for the Nub Cigar Event.
The Down Town Store is much smaller than I would have imagined given the size of Cigars International but they had a very impressive selection of cigars. I was in the mood for a shower but I found the shower in the bath room had been turned into a storage area.
The atmosphere was great. They had tent set up outside for Sam with a few tables and chairs for the herfers and music blasting through a loud speaker.
Nub creator Sam Leccia, whom I would describe as the Kid Rock of the cigar world, was on hand chatting with cigars lovers and demonstrating his mad rolling skills. Sam definitely plays up the Rock Star image and commented that he does over 100 events a year.
Sam currently is on tour with his Cain F series. Sam will be in SmokeyButts home town of Wichita, Kansas on October 23 at the Humidor Lounge.
