Departing from the pier, you’ll travel to La Flor Dominicana Cigar Factory, the most amazing boutique factory in the world. Here you will see the proud handiwork of the cigar industry’s most experienced craftsmen and women, all under the watchful eyes of cigar legend Master Blender Jose Seijas. The factory owns the largest cigar Megastore in the Americas, which carries the best selection and prices of the premium Dominican Cigars.
Here, you will see how tobacco leaves are prepared, humidified, stripped, aged, blended, and rolled into premium handmade cigars.
- Browse the Cigar Shop and enjoy a complimentary Dominican coffee before continuing your journey to Altos de Chavón, a re-creation of a 16th century Mediterranean village overlooking the Chavón River.
- Stroll along the cobblestone streets with your guide and stop to visit the Regional Archaeological Museum & Woven Art Workshop before passing the School of Design, and the open-air amphitheatre.
