Vote for Cigar Journal’s 2016 Cigar Trophy

Cigar Journal wants YOUR vote for their 2016 Cigar Trophy awards. Cigar Journal covers all angles of the cigar world and brings together the global community of cigar smokers. From reports on the culture of cigar-producing countries and profiles of humidor makers to explanations of cigar science basics and industry news, the cigar is such a multifaceted creation that Cigar Journal has little room for other lifestyle themes. Cigar Journal gives you everything you thought you wanted to know about cigars, and more. Cigar Journal is printed in both English and German, and soon Spanish. Cigar Journal is our favorite cigar magazine as it focuses primarily on cigars, not expensive cars and  golf courses. Yes, a not so subtle slam  on another cigar magazine. Cigar Journal has been around for over 20 years.

Cigar Journal awards a trophy in the following categories based on votes from cigar lovers around the world:

– Best Brand

– Best Cigar

– Best Value

– Best Medium Filler

– Best Cigar Lounge

– Best Accessory.

For  Best Brand, you can vote for cigars from Cuba, Dominican Republic, Nicaragua, and the United States. For Best Cigar, you can vote for cigars from Cuba, Dominican Republic, Honduras, and Nicaragua. I guess the United States does not make a cigar worthy of the Best Cigar trophy. Best Value countries include Dominican Republic, Honduras, and Nicaragua.

Additionally, Cigar Journal’s editorial team makes a selection and awards a trophy in the following categories:

– Extraordinary Art

– Charitable Projects

– Advocacy Groups

– Lifetime Achievement Award.

Voting is open until June 30, 2016. To cast your vote, go HERE. Cigar Trophy results will be announced on September 16, 2016 at Inter-Tabac in Germany.

We may have to setup a GoFundMe so Smokey and I can attend this. Germany in September. Perfect!

c.gar loves all things cigar-related. He typically falls in love with cigars that are discontinued shortly thereafter. His first cigar was a Swisher Sweet with a wood tip. Sadly, these are still in production.
