Cigarfest 2010 Recap

For those of you who have never been to CigarFest let me give you the quick rundown.

C.Gar and I missed out on the VIP tickets so we received general admission tickets which means we were not allowed in to the exhibit hall until 3 pm with 3,000 of our closest friends.

We were given our bag of goodies and a coupon book. The coupon book allowed us to wander from booth to booth and trade a coupon for a free cigar. When I say wander, I really mean fight through the crowd. Luckily, everywhere we turned was a nice looking booth babe or CI girl to distract us from the crowd.

Since we had raffle tickets this year, we decided to hang around until the drawing which didn’t take place until around 5 pm.

I was really hoping to win the 5 Vegas Jeep.  You can refer to my Winner Winner Chicken Dinner entry for what I did win.  Hoorah for me.

While we were waiting the Gurkha booth started throwing out free T-Shirts and hats.  I being the younger more aggressive of the Cigar Intel Crew on hand decided to try and get in on the action. I must say it was nothing short of combat. Three times I had my hand firmly grasped on a t-shirt only to have someone yank it out from my hand. Finally, on my fourth attempt I did my best Michael Jordan impression and managed to walk away with a great looking Gurkha T-shirt.

All in all this was another great CigarFest and I plan to return for many more.
